Join Seniornet's Apple Mobile Special Interest Group and really make your Apple experience come alive
Seniornet presents a special interest group focused on Apple iPhone and iPad users to offer information, inspiration, help and support to help you make the most of your Apple device. Note this group is not for Mac users.
When will we meet..?
This Special Interest Group will get together at 11am on the last Thursday of each month between February and November to immerse themselves in an Apple environment for a couple of hours where they will listen, talk and share and hopefully learn and teach a little along the way.
What will we do..?
We hope to have guest speakers from time to time, focus sessions on subjects, sharing opportunities, problem solving and much more as the group evolves.
Do I need to be there every month..?
Regular attendance is beneficial and recommended but not mandatory. An loose agenda will be published via the weekly newsletter before each meeting detailing the set items lined up but of course, things that you bring to the meeting will also form part of the agenda.
How will I benefit..?
You will get to sit and chat to people with the same, more or less skills than you. You will learn a lot, impart your knowledge and be up with the latest from Apple. As an adjunct to just mucking around with your device, you will be inspired to try new apps, use your device in ways you did not think about before and generally become much more familiar with the possibilities and confident using your device.
These meetings are especially important for people with older Apple devices which Seniornet no longer teaches in their Apple courses. The Special Interest Group will be the only place for support of these devices.
Think of this as a meeting of a few friends who share a love of Apple devices and we go from there.
